Dr Aletha Ward is an experienced academic within public health and nursing. Teaching experience includes areas of social and cultural determinants of health, nursing, First Nations health, and public health. Aletha has a strong mixed methods research background in food insecurity, emissions reduction, climate change, planetary health and plant-based diets within a social health policy framework. Aletha is an experienced Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in multi-disciplinary teams. Aletha is a fellow of the Australian College of Nursing and is a national leader in climate health policy.
