Angela is a Lecturer (English language) at USQ College. Angela's role is built upon almost 23 years of teaching English as a second language to adult learners in private English language colleges and in the university sector. This teaching experience has encompassed beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced English language levels, online and on campus English language programs, and included teaching IELTS and PTE Academic test taking skills, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), general English, and business English programs. Her MA Research study (Griffith University) involved exploring how new ideas or innovation emerges in English language learner's research based writing. Angela's research interests include second language development, knowledge creation processes in ESL reading to write tasks, embodied cognition, and motivation and language change. Angela has experience using complex dynamic systems approaches to investigating second language development. Angela is currently examiner of the Advanced Communication Skills 2 course at USQ College.
