Annabel is a motivated and enthusiastic healthcare professional and academic with highly developed communication skills, who has the ability to build strong relationships with peers, professional colleagues, students and the wider community.

She has been the recipient of multiple awards, including Australian Nurse of the Year, Pride of Australia Medal for Care and Compassion and The Professor Catherine Turner Medal for Excellence in Nursing. Annabel has also been nominated for Young Australian of the Year, Young Queenslander of the Year and Queenslander Teacher of the Year.
