I am a Lecturer in Psychology at UniSQ and an Affiliated Researcher with the Centre for Analytic Criminology at the University of Cambridge. My research spans psychology, criminology, and research methodology, with a particular focus on advancing and evaluating Situational Action Theory (SAT). I am interested in person-environment interactions, theory development and testing, and improving the methods used to study complex psychological and behavioural processes. I am also a co-founder of SATDASH, an international research initiative that supports the SAT research community through its Living Review, methodological resources, research measures, and promotion of open, transparent, and reproducible research.
Alongside my research, I am passionate about teaching research methods and statistics and supporting students to develop confidence as researchers. I enjoy working with students to develop rigorous, theoretically informed, and meaningful research and welcome enquiries from prospective Honours and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. I am particularly interested in supervising research in criminology, theory development and testing, quantitative and computational approaches, and research methodology more broadly.
