With a background in conservation ecology, I am interested in understanding the co-existence between humans and wildlife. With over 15 years of experience in the wildlife conservation field, I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to the study of red pandas, a habitat specialist native to the Himalayas. I explored the movement and spatial ecology of red pandas in the human-dominated landscape in my PhD. In general, my research focuses on movement and spatial ecology, meta-population dynamics, human-wildlife interface, community-based conservation, and conservation policy.
