Dr. Emily Wang is an experienced Registered Nurse, researcher, and academic with over 25 years of clinical and leadership experience across acute, community, and chronic care settings in Australia and internationally. She is widely recognised for her expertise in pain management, particularly in improving outcomes and quality of life for people living with chronic pain, including cancer survivors.
Dr. Wang’s research focuses on nursing education, evidence-based practice, and the integration of modern technologies into healthcare and teaching. She has a strong track record in developing and evaluating nurse-led interventions for pain management, alongside a growing program of work exploring the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital health tools to enhance clinical decision-making, support patient self-management, and strengthen workforce capability.
Her work also advances innovative approaches to nursing education, including AI-assisted learning and technology-enhanced teaching, aimed at preparing a future-ready nursing workforce.
