Successful research outcomes will improve patient health related quality of life, sustain pulmonary function, and reduce economic health burden in COPD cohort within Australian health industry. Research experience includes mixed methods systematic literature review, modified Delphi/ E-Delphi method, qualitative research utilising frameworks/thematic analysis, and implementation research to develop better implementation initiatives. Intended impact of her research is to change practice, integrate interdisciplinary care utilising an innovative implementation tool in Emergency departments (E-ICP- Electronic integrated COPD proforma). This research is capable of being piloted in national emergency departments to measure efficacy of E-ICP auditing for ED readmission, retrospective pre and post implementation of COPD care indicators.
