Jo Buckley is a member of the University of Southern Queensland School of Nursing and Midwifery. She teaches into both undergraduate nursing and midwifery programs as a lecturer and clinical facilitator. Jo is an experienced clinician, having completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2002 and Masters of Midwifery in 2009. Jo's areas of speciality and experience include medical, surgical, perioperative care, midwifery and more recently emergency nursing. Her balance of theoretical and practical experiences is well placed in ensuring students are well-rounded in their knowledge for future careers as nurses and midwives. Jo balances her professional career by working for several health districts across South East Queensland and Far North Queensland as a registered nurse and midwife.
