Jonathan Green is Associate Professor (Pathways) and Academic Lead (Research), Pathways in the School of Business, Law, Humanities and Pathways at the University of Southern Queensland. His work spans teaching, research and sector leadership in enabling and pathways education, with particular interests in widening participation, student transition, academic literacies and the development of quality and capability frameworks for enabling education.
Jonathan is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pathways Education and Research and an executive member of the National Association of Enabling Educators of Australia (NAEEA). He has led and contributed to national initiatives aimed at strengthening the quality, research capacity and scholarly recognition of enabling education.
His broader research interests include higher education learning and teaching, transfer of learning, English for Academic Purposes and intercultural education. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Research Fellow in the Faculty of the Humanities at the University of the Free State, South Africa.
