I am a Lecturer in Psychology based at the Ipswich campus. I have a background in cognitive psychology and sport/performance psychology, generally focusing on how experts make decisions in high-performance environments. I am interested in research relating to sports officials (i.e., referees and umpires), judgement decision-making, heuristics and biases, skill acquisition, and sport/performance psychology. I have also conducted research exploring acute readiness monitoring in a defence context and am interested in extending this work into elite sport (or other domains).
