- Geoarchaeology, soils/sediments, site formation processes and landscape archaeology
- Prehistoric archaeology in northern and coastal Australia, and the Northern Plains and Southeastern North America.
- Middle Bronze archaeology in the Mediterranean and Pre- and Post-Colonial Southeast Asia
