Kirstie is a Mununjali, Yugembeh woman with experience in criminal defense, criminal prosecutions and corrections. She is based on campus at Toowoomba, living and working on Jagera, Giabal and Jarowair country. She is interested in human rights, First Nations intersections, youth justice, international obligations and criminal law.
Kirstie is a member of Women Lawyers Association Queensland, Australian Lawyers for Human Rights Inc, and Indigenous Lawyers Association Queensland. She holds executive committee membership on First Nations Consulting Committee and the Future Leaders Committee, with the Qld Law Society. Kirstie also maintains her role as Vice President, Downs Southwest Queensland Law Association.
