A/Prof Ge is currently an ARC Future Fellow at UniSQ School of Engineering and Centre for Future Materials. He obtained his PhD from University of Queensland in 2013. He is currently leading a research team “Gas processing technology and Materials” within CFM, including one Postdoctoral fellow and four PhD students. His research has been focused on material development for gas processing by membrane/adsorption, catalysis and engineering design for addressing the challenges in Australian unconventional gas extraction with industry partners. He has published >120 journal articles in high quality journals, such as Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, Angewandte Chemie, Chem, Applied Catalysis B: Environment, Advanced Materials. These papers have more than 10000 citations.
