I am a surveyor with more than 30 years of experience across cadastral, engineering, construction and geospatial disciplines. During my career, I have found great reward in working as a registered surveyor with cadastral endorsement.
My experience spans private industry, local government and the Queensland State government. I have led award-winning projects including the Moreton Bay Marine Park rezoning project, Fort Bribie Heritage digital record project and the Road Valuation project to spatially capture and assess the value of 140,000 kilometres of roads across Queensland.
Teaching and mentoring have been long-standing parts of my professional career. I have supported early-career surveyors and GIS professionals, helping them build practical skills, confidence and an understanding of real-world surveying challenges.
As a UniSQ alumnus, I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying), a Graduate Diploma in Survey Practice and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology. I am passionate about student-centred, industry-related learning and bring my practical experience to the School dedicated to preparing the next generation of surveyors.
Member of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI)
