Melissa Forbes is a music educator, singing practitioner-researcher, and recovering jazz musician. Her research explores our experiences of singing and seeks to position singing as an everyday activity from which anyone can benefit. She is proud to have been involved in the formation of Toowoomba’s first singing group for people with Parkinson’s disease and their carers. Melissa is a Churchill Fellow and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
