Dr Nan Yang is a Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and an Adjunct Lecturer at Western Sydney University. She received her PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research interests include federated and decentralised learning, distributed and edge computing, space computing, scalable AI systems, self-supervised learning, and time-series analytics. Her research has been published in leading journals and conferences, including IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TPDS, IEEE Network, ICLR, AAAI, IPDPS, ICWS, and ICDM. She has served on the program committees of major international conferences, including NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ECCV, AISTATS, and ACM Multimedia, and regularly reviews for leading international journals.
