My research focuses on the biomechanics and neurophysiology of exercise-induced muscle damage and adaptation. Specifically, I investigate the repeated bout effect and the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms that contribute to resilience following eccentric exercise. Using techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electromyography (EMG), I explore cortical and spinal adaptations that influence muscle function and recovery. My work aims to enhance our understanding of neuromuscular plasticity and its implications for training, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
