Nikita Walz (PhD Biomedical Sciences) is a Lecturer in the School of Health and Medical Sciences. Her teaching profile includes several courses in the areas of human anatomy and physiology and biomedical sciences. Nikita is a research scientist with experience in various aspects of both human clinical and basic science research, with a particular interest in endocrinology and cell signalling/metabolism. Nikita is the PC2 facility Technical Lead for biomedical sciences. Her current research is assessing the biocompatibility of a novel stoma medical device. She also participates in research in the area of learning and teaching.
