We believe that "thinking about thinking" is central to counter-terrorism, intelligence and national security. Further, we believe that decision theory, including economics and behavioural economics, gives us deep, new ways to think about thinking. By drawing on, synthesising and innovating upon five decades of research in these fields, we present decision frameworks that are both accessible and applicable to problems such as terrorism and espionage. Each article tells a part of our story.
