My Background

I have had 20 years experience designing and delivering education in the University, pre-tertiary, secondary, primary, elary learning, early learning, government, corporate and military environments.

My publications include answer to questions at the end of text book chapters, a peer-reviewed journal article on the design and development of the Microsoft Academic Training Program at the Griffith University, and presentations at EdTechPosium 2017 on aligned education and active learning in the online space.

My qualifications include:

My Role at USQ

As an Educational Designer provide one-on-one advice, support and resources to academic staff and teaching teams to design, develop and enhance courses. The specific areas I support are the School of Agricultural, Computational and Environmental Sciences, the School of Civil Engineering and Surveying, and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. My goal is to enhance learning and teaching experiences through course design and the development of learning resources, assessment items and assessment support materials.
