I have worked as a Registered Nurse since 1990 in acute care settings - medical, surgical, orthopaedics, ICU, ED, recovery room, rehabilitation and paediatrics. I commenced working in education in 2003 and working in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at USQ in 2013. I have completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Children's Writing, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Education, Master of Nursing in Advanced Clinical Education and am currently completing my
Doctor of Philosophy. My research interests revolve around the education of undergraduate registered nursing students and their abilities to use critical thinking and clinical reasoning in practice.
