Tony's career at USQ began in 1992. He has served as Undergrad Program Coordinator, Honours Program Coordinator, Head of Department (2008-2013) and Head of School (2013-2018) in the School of Psychology and Counselling. He was also Acting Exec Dean of the Faculty of HES for a brief time.

With a team from Griffith University, he has started a 3-year ARC grant focusing on "Juggling priorities: How do tertiary students balance work and study".

He is involved in the APS as a member of the APS Advisory Council, and the Fellows committee. He is also an APAC assessor.

He is contributing to HDR student supervision in areas such as health and safety in the workplace, development and evaluation of interventions that assist the unemployed to return to work, and addressing mental health issues in the workplace.

1. I am a CI on an ARC Discovery grant with Griffith University commencing in 2018 focusing on “Juggling priorities: How do tertiary students balance work and study?”.

2. I contribute to HDR students in areas such as health and safety in the workplace, development of interventions to assist the unemployed, and addressing mental health issues in the workplace.
