Dr Vainess Mbuzi has over 40 years of experience in clinical, research and academic settings. She has worked in various roles in these different settings, such as nurse researcher, research officer, nurse manager, clinical nurse, and senior lecturer. These varied roles have enabled her to gain extensive experience in research activities, presentation, publications, teaching and marking of assignments. In addition, bedside coordination of patient care, clinical leadership (Team leader) and floor coordinator within intensive care.
Her philosophy of patient focused care and an advocate for positive work culture has motivated her to explore best practice strategies to improve and deliver safe, quality and healthcare patient outcomes. She is a team player who works effectively by collaborating, supporting and promoting team members ideas and professional skills.
