Vincent is a lecturer in law with the School of Law and Justice, based at the Ipswich campus. A former solicitor with experience in litigation and dispute resolution, Vince was awarded his PhD by the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2024 without revisions. His thesis (Exceptionality, neoliberalism and corporations in COVID times: The legal shaping of economic order in crisis) received the Dean Graduate Research Award for Outstanding Thesis.
Vince’s research is critical and contextual in focus. He is interested in the forms and modes of power that shape law and law-making processes, particularly during periods of crisis. His research often brings a theoretically-informed critique to law and legal institutions.
