Yasas is a casual academic and researcher at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). His research focuses on computer vision (RGB and multispectral imagery, and 3D point clouds), robust AI, adversarial robustness, generative networks, large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), and software engineering applications, particularly in the domains of UAVs, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities. He is currently completing his PhD at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Canberra), with his thesis under examination. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK.
