Biography

Dr Thong Nguyen-Huy has significant experience in teaching, research, and student supervision at all levels. His research interests include agricultural climate risk modeling. His research interests include agricultural climate risk modeling, environmental finance, geospatial intelligence, digital farming, renewable energy forecasting, decarbonization, and disaster risk management. He has substantial experience in developing and applying statistical and data-driven algorithms, copula-based models, optimization techniques, and GIS and remote sensing technologies to support decision-making. Dr Thong has a proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals and securing competitive funding. He collaborates closely with many universities, research institutions, and industry partners on projects aimed at enhancing climate risk management and agricultural resilience.
