Dr Shahab Abdulla is a Lecturer of mathematics/Communication). His interdisciplinary interest is in Biomedical Engineering, Complex Medical Engineering, Networked Systems, Intelligent Control, Computer Control Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence: Machine Learning ( 461100 ), Neural Networks (461104), Deep Learning (461103), Human Impacts Of Climate Change And Human Adaptation (410103), Natural Resource Management (410406), Environmental Assessment And Monitoring ( 410402 ), Reinforcement Learning ( 461105 ), and Environmental Management ( 410400 ), Mathematical Sciences and Information and Computing Sciences. Designing expert systems for his research interests, including deep learning, convolutional neural and long- short-term memory networks. Dr Abdulla's leadership was recognised by many awards. Dr Abdulla served on several committees. He was a chair of the IEEE conference. Dr Abdulla collaborates with researchers in the Middle East, the US, Japan, Europe, China, and Canada, delivering over 30 seminars. In the last 3 years, Dr Abdulla's papers have been cited more than 1000 times. With more than 55 publications (largely in Q1 journals), Dr Abdulla leads the Advanced Data Analytics Modelling Research Simulation Group, as Principal and Associate Supervisor of more than 14 PhD and Master's Degrees students.
